Daily maintenance and cleaning of high-speed drilling and tapping machines

1. Daily maintenance and cleaning
After the high-speed drilling and tapping machine is working: use a vacuum cleaner to remove the metal scraps from the end of the spindle motor rotor, the terminal and the inside of the machine tool to prevent scraps from entering the bearings or circuits and causing wear or short circuits.
Key areas: Spindle taper holes, tool fixtures, tool magazine arms and guide rail guards and other parts that are prone to chip accumulation need to be thoroughly cleaned.
Equipment surface cleaning: Wipe the control panel, body shell and operating table with a soft cloth to avoid oil or dust accumulation that affects heat dissipation. When the oil is heavy, a neutral detergent can be used to assist, but liquid must be prevented from penetrating into the electrical system.

2. Cooling system maintenance
Daily inspection: After starting the machine, confirm that the cooling water pump is working properly, the flow is sufficient and there are no impurities. Cooling water pollution or pipe blockage will reduce the heat dissipation efficiency of the spindle and needs to be replaced or filtered regularly.
Water quality control: Use deionized water or rust-proof coolant to avoid scale and microbial growth. Clean the water tank and pipes every month to prevent sediment from affecting the cooling effect.
Spindle cooling: Clean the inner taper hole of the spindle and spray light oil to prevent rust. Check whether the spindle air blowing function is normal to ensure that waste chips are discharged in time during processing.
